Pick me! Pick me!

I'm announcing my campaign for the Nobel Peace Prize. I would like to suggest you nominate me, based on the fact that I haven't accomplished anything. I do, on the other hand, have a nice tone. And if I only had to do it for 11 days, I think I could generate a lot of good will and warm fuzzies without the added pressure of, you know, doing anything.

So send in those nomiations. Ashli for the Nobel Peace Prize.

PS: Maybe it was the beer summit? I mean, that was a rather radical approach to generating peace... Oh wait, that didn't happen in the first 11 days of the presidency, so it couldn't been that. We're back to nothing.

  1. Can you imagine if you were a person who had won the Nobel peace prize? Mother Theresa, Ghandi, whoever else. This action devalues the work other people have done. It's like giving an academy award to an elementary school cast. Everybody who has an academy award would just say, "Well, what's the point of this?" Another question: who did Obama beat? Who came in second here? They awarded it to Obama because of the "hope he generated". What the frip? The hope? What hope? The most peaceful thing he's done is approve foreign abortions with US financial aid. I'm not sure on this, but that doesn't sound very peaceful. I'm still researching that. (Sarcasm: dead babies are not peaceful...they are actually the badge of a killer.)
